Subject: DOCENTS on the Russian Foxtrot at Seattle

Many thanks to the subvets who spent a couple hours today (May 23rd) getting oriented aboard the Foxtrot for pending docent duties.

The participants today included George Debo, Dennis Doyle, Don Gentry, Dave Goodson, Ric Hedman, Karl Krompholz, Peter McCafferty, Bob Opple, Charlie Ryan, Robert Vanderway, Phil Ward and Pat Householder.

The Sub is located at Pier 48 and is ready for exhibition. But the permanent brow has yet to be connected from the pier to the boat.

It looks like that will be completed by midweek. (May 28th or 29th)

The Foxtrot is at Pier 48, just south of the Coleman Ferry Terminal.
Summer hours are 9 AM - 9 PM, 7 days a week and docents will be working 4 hour shifts aboard (9-1, 1-5, 5-9)

The initial watchbill will be drawn from the above docent volunteers. Additional docent training will be scheduled in the near future so if you live in the Puget Sound area and wish to be a Subvet docent volunteer, please get back to me via email at householderp@attbi.com

As we were leaving two young guys 'crashed' the gate to see the sub. Wouldn't you know it.... They were active duty submarine sailors...
